How does it work?Tattoo removal Hertfordshire
A high powered laser light from the Yag Q Switch Laser is aimed at the tattoo in short bursts which last less than a second. This beam of light passes through the skin and is absorbed by the tattoo ink. This breaks down the ink molecules and makes them small enough for the body to remove.

How many treatments will I need?
Depending on the size, location and age of the tattoo, you are likely to need at least four treatments. We never over-treat the tattoo and our world leading laser technology means we can remove a tattoo in the least amount of treatments possible.

How long do I need to leave between appointments?
It is recommended that you leave 4 to 6 weeks between treatments to allow the body to remove the broken ink particles. If you have treatments more frequently, you won’t allow your body to remove all the ink we have broken down and you will be paying for more sessions than you need.

I have a colourful tattoo, will the laser remove all the colours?
All colours (except for white) can be treated. However, some colours will take longer than others to remove. We will discuss your own specific requirements at the initial consultation. At that point, a personalised treatment plan will be discussed with you.

Can anyone have a tattoo removed?
As long as you are over eighteen years old and are suitably medically fit, then you can have your tattoo removed.

Does the laser leave a scar?
As with any treatment of this type, scarring is a possibility. However, it is very rare.

Does the laser tattoo removal hurt?
Most people say that having a tattoo removed by laser is no more painful than being tattooed in the first place.
